Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga was on Wednesday September 9, 2020 captured on a video engaging in roadside campaign rallies in Taita Taveta.
The former Prime Minister in a video shared by NTV pulled masses as he drummed up support for the Building Bridges initiative.
The African Union envoy is heard in the video reflecting on his 2017 campaign manifesto of taking Kenyans to Canaan.
He narrated how he met crocodiles at river Jordan with his caravan on their way to Canaan, which forced him to join hands with President Uhuru Kenyatta to build a bridge to help his followers cross.
This, according to Raila, was enabled through the famous March 9, 2018 handshake that birthed the Building Bridges Inititaive.
He urged residents to support BBI so that they can be able to reach Canaan.

Preparations for BBI rallies resumption are in top gear following reports of a drop in the Covid-19 infection rate in the country. The rallies came to a halt after the first case of the viral disease was reported in Kenya in March.
According to National Assembly Minority Leader John Mbadi, Uhuru and Raila are likely to receive the report this month.
He projected that the entire BBI process, once the document is made public, would take about five months before Kenyans can go to the ballot to decide on the proposed constitutional amendments.
