Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi has hit back at Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju for calling him out to apologise over the slur he made against President Uhuru Kenyatta and his mother Mama Ngina.
Sudi who spoke in a live press conference at his Eldoret home told off critics who are calling out him and his Emurua Dikirr counterpart Johana Ng’eno to apologise.
Tuju while appearing in an interview on Citizen TV on Tuesday night revealed that he had reached out to Deputy President William Ruto, urging him to tell his allies to shun abusive languages.
Tuju further revealed that the DP told him that he had already tweeted about the issue, but Tuju argued that Kenyans cannot be convinced with a single social media post.
However, Oscar Sudi who was responding to critics argued that Tuju is speaking so that the first family can help him settle his Ksh2 billion debt.
Dari Ltd was placed under receivership in January over the Sh1.6 billion debt owed to EADB, although Mr Tuju has appealed the decision.
