It has been the norm of most politicians’ children to continue the legacy and follow in their parent’s footsteps, and in the case of incumbent Nakuru Governor, Susan Kihika, her case is no different.
Recently, social media was awash with photos of the birthday party celebration of Susan Kihika’s first-born daughter, Tiffany Kiarie, which was held at an undisclosed location.
The all-white party affair, which was graced by top government officials, including Cabinet Secretaries, Governors, Senators and other influential figures, was hailed as an event aimed at commemorating Tiffany’s journey in life.
“It sure takes a village to raise a child, and it equally takes a village to support that child’s parent. Thank you to our awesome solid village of friends who have helped us in one way or another raise this beautiful, kind and sweet girl into the lovely young lady that she has turned out to be.
“Thank you all for celebrating her with us and for your great words of wisdom and guidance to her,” Kihika stated in a statement dated Sunday, February 5.
Unknown to many, Tiffany studied at West Nairobi School- a Christian international school in Karen, Nairobi, with a North American curriculum.
Upon completing her secondary education in 2016, she relocated to Tampa, Florida for her tertiary studies.
According to her LinkedIn profile, she joined the University of Tampa for a Bachelor’s degree in Political science and government- a possible inclination toward a possible career in politics.
The degree, in particular, focuses on World Affairs and a minor in Criminal Justice.
Her professional career began in May 2018 as an intern at SC Prof. Tom Ojienda and Associates for a period of five months.
While at the law firm, her work entailed conducting research, accompanying advocates to court sessions and maintaining the highest level of confidentiality of private and personal information.
She later worked as a Field Organiser in Tampa Florida for three months from May 2020 to July 2020- a period where she had to juggle between work and school.
With a keen interest in politics, Tiffany focused on working at the Texas Democratic Party as a field organiser in Houston, Texas.
The party is an affiliate of the Democratic Party in the state of Texas and is regarded as one of the two major political parties in the state, followed by the Republican Party of Texas.
“I am entirely motivated by the humanitarian sector, with a passion for advocating for human rights,” part of her profile from Linked In reads.
