Meet coast sell out governors being financed by deep state to kill ODM

Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has claimed President Uhuru Kenyatta wants to remain relevant by sponsoring coastal leaders to form their own regional party.

“Despite governor Salim Mvurya’s different political ideology from that of Hassan Joho and Amason Kingi, Uhuru still wants him to be part of the formation of a village party,” Sudi opined.

In a statement shared on his Facebook page on Wednesday, March 24, the vocal Tanga Tanga lawmaker claimed the head of state was planning to employ divide and rule tactics in his quest to remain relevant by empowering ‘tribal chiefs’.

The second-term lawmaker noted the president had done the same in Western Kenya and Eastern while ‘pretending’ to unite the country. “He (Uhuru) is shocked that Kenya’s political conversation has changed to tribeless one but he is so desperate to a level he now wants to drag us back there,” Sudi added.

His remarks came after the president, who doubles up as the Jubilee Party leader, held a meeting with governors Hassan Joho (Mombasa), Amason Kingi (Kilifi) and Salim Mvurya (Kwale) at State House, Mombasa.

In January, Kingi and Joho hinted they could ditch the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) for the regional outfit ahead of the 2022 General Election
