Celebrations as former SONU leader Murage Njagagua attains PhD

It was pomp and colour when former Sonu Vice Chairman Fwamba NC Fwamba led his fellow SONU alumni members to celebrate Dr Murage Njagagua who graduated with a PhD in Finance at the University of Nairobi.

Dr.Murage was the inaugural Speaker of the SONU Parliament in 2003. The occasion which was held  on 28th December 2019  at Dr Murage’s home in Siakago, Embu County was also graced by among others Dr Murage’s Friend, Father Timothy Njeru, Hon. Senator Njeru Ndwiga Embu County, Senator, Hon. Cecily Mbarire National Assembly deputy Chief Whip, Hon.John Muchiri MP, Manyatta, Hon. Geoffrey Kingangi MP, Mbeere South, Hon.Muriuki Njagagua MP Mbeere North, Former Embu Senator Hon.Lenny Kivuti, Hon. Josiah Thiriku-Embu County Speaker, Hon Mwari Nthawa MCA, Hon Tandipole MCA Mbeti South, Hon Judy Mbuya nominated MCA. Embu County Finance CECM, CECM Dr Njagi. Dr Piero Ngugi among others.

Also in attendance were more than 50 staff from the University of Nairobi led by Professor Njeru CHSS principal, Prof James Njihia Dean School of Business, Mwalimu James Karanja, Alex Jaleha Kisumu campus Coordinator, Dr Hassan Omari, Dr Ombati, Dr Githii, Salome Richu, Chesoni, Pauline Nduta Muchene, Lasoi, Nyaoga among others.

Dr Murage’s fellow Doctorate classmates: Dr Kimanzi, Dr Kasomi and Dr Ndimitu were also present.

Dr Murage’s Students at UoN led by CPA Akaalumi Sam, Erick Kariuki, Muteti, Daisy among others were also present.
