This is after the Central Organization of Trade Unions (COTU) Secretary-General, Francis Atwoli, met with a section of ANC party members on Thursday, January 27.
Atwoli revealed that he held a meeting with ANC members who had sworn allegiance to Mudavadi.
The COTU Boss stated that he met Butere member of parliament (MP), Tindi Mwale, Lurambi MP, Titus Khamala, Khisero law maker, Christopher Aseka and former Shinyalu legislator, Silverse Anami.
Also present was Kakamega Woman Representative, Elsie Muhanda.
“Today, they paid me a courtesy call, at my Ildamat home in Kajiado, for a political meeting,” Atwoli wrote.
The outspoken leader openly castigated Mudavadi over his newly formed alliance with Deputy President, William Ruto. He further questioned the ANC party leader’s Pesa Mfukoni economic model, which highlighted his manifesto.
“Who told him he’s going to be President? Befriending Ruto is not the key to Presidency.
“Mudavadi, in 1994, while minister for finance, sneaked in the redundancy clause into the Finance Bill of 1994, as suggested by the World Bank, which allowed employers to declare redundancy without consulting workers. So how will he empower workers?” Atwoli posed.
In addition Atwoli insinuated that the hard-hitting ‘Let us tell each other the truth’ speech during his earthquake announcement at the Bomas of Kenya was authored by the DP.
“Anybody who has been listening to what William Ruto has been talking about me, Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta can attest that it was him (Ruto) who crafted that speech,” Atwoli alleged
