A 6-year-old girl could not hold back her tears after laying her eyes on Deputy President William Ruto on Saturday.
The DP was attending a fundraiser at the Africa Inland Church (AIC) in Kinangop, Nyandarua County, where the pupil was invited to perform a poem.
After presenting her item, the girl showered Ruto with praise and told him to greet the president.

In a video that is doing rounds on social media, the girl is seen crying while hugging Ruto.
The DP is seen handing her his handkerchief to wipe her tears.
