The journalist who is also a radio host gifted his spouse with a cheque worth Ksh1 Million and an iPhone worth Ksh150,000 as she celebrated her 31st birthday.
In a video shared on social media, the couple is seen entering their house as friends and family wait and immediately start to sing the happy birthday song.
Delighted, Betty was taken aback as her two daughters lead the joyous song. Citizen TV‘s Monica Kiragu who is Musambi’s long time friend and colleague was also present at the party.
“I saw you already have a car and a house, now I was asking my self what else can I get you?” Bonnie narrated as his wife unwrapped the gift.
In a heartfelt post on his Instagram, Musambi celebrated Betty who he had credited for his success in life.
“She is celebrating her 31st birthday today and I am excited. My lovely wife, what gift can really match your goodness? I really wonder. May the Lord keep you healthy just for me,” she stated.
Betty on her part, expressed her joy for the gift given to her noting, “Thank my love, Bonnie for the birthday surprise and thank you to our friends for making it happen.”
Bonnie has on several occasions gone the extra mile when it comes to gifting his wife. In 2019, he bought her a car and a house to express his appreciation.
In a previous interview with kenyagist.com, Bonnie dislocated that they met when he was at his lowest adding that the real reason he loved his wife so much was that she got to know him at his lowest but stuck with him all through.
When he met Betty, Bonnie stated that he was recovering from a terrible heartbreak and had at sometime sworn that he would never get married.
“We have been married for the last seven years and the main reason as to why I love her is that she came to my life when I had been heartbroken. I had given up on marriage.
“Initially I was dating a girl only to realise that she was somebody else’s wife. She was a foreigner. She came to my life at that time and she collected and encouraged me,” he disclosed.
The couple has been blessed with two children since tying the knot.
