Kisumu Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o was on Sunday¬†flown to Nairobi after low blood pressure diagnosis.
Confirming the news, AgaKhan¬†Dr Sam Oula stated that the county head was transferred to Nairobi¬†for further tests.
According to reports, he was airlifted by AMREF flying doctors service¬†accompanied¬†by his bodyguards, doctors and family members.
Earlier on, the governor was rushed to hospital after falling sick¬†during the installation ceremony of¬†Reverend¬†Philip Anyolo¬†as the new Catholic Archbishop.
Nyong’o¬†was admitted at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Aga Khan Hospital.
Speaking to journalists, Oula¬†said the governor was feeling dizzy when he arrived at the facility, adding that they administered the necessary medication.
He was among a host of leaders who welcomed ODM Party leader¬†Raila Odinga¬†at Uzima Grounds where the function was held.
