Nine months after its launch in Nairobi, Crucible Courier and Logistics (www.logistics.crucible.co.ke) reached 2,000 customer deliveries and is already well on its way toward 500 returning customers.
“We are thrilled by the response from Kenyans to our on-demand B2B delivery service. Among the 2,000 customers are corporate accounts as well as numerous merchants relying on our service to deliver good and documents to their suppliers, customers, business partners and so on
“This is the main reason we have opened an office on the busy Tsavo Road in the Nairobi CBD, complemented by a free-of-charge collection service for our corporate customers,” says Paul Ochieng, one of the founding directors of the family-run courier company.
Crucible Logistics is seeing a very wide typology of customers using its service delivery service, from pharmaceutical companies to construction companies and automotive companies.
Crucible Logistics is also used by merchants who use it to make deliveries to their suppliers and to their customers around the country.
“We are also thrilled to observe that not only our customers return, but that they are using the service for farther and more complex delivery use cases as they gain confidence in our ability to deliver to them a great service. Average order value is going up!” continues Ochieng, the director in charge of operations and new businesses.
“We will continue to work hard to expand and improve our service for them”, concluded Ochieng.
