Today, they are rich, famous and mighty, but a look back into their life before fame & money reveals a true story of inspiration.

Below is a list of some of the celebrities who have made it big after a long struggle while they were younger;

        1. Jalang’o

Jalas grew up in Homa Bay County with poor parents who relied on small scale farming. Like many others who come to the urban areas to seek greener pastures, Jalang’o was among the lucky ones. He landed a job and he’s currently the MP for Langata after quitting his radio job. He’s an immensely talented personality; and he’s definitely destined for more.

        2. Khaligraph Jones

Khaligraph’s impeccable talent can’t go un-noticed. He’s currently one the bigwigs in the music industry who are taking our music to International levels. His rise to success is even more intriguing. He lived in Kayole, infamously known for theft and it’s slums.

        3. Vera Sidika

One of Kenya’s exquisite socialites Vera Sidika thirst traps so many men despite her married status. She’s still a hottie even after giving birth to a first born. Apart from being voluptuous and all $exy, Vera is a rich lady; who has built her success progressively. She gained popularity with her music career appearance in P-UNITS single ‘You Guy’. Before that, she was just an ordinary chick struggling to make ends meet.

        4. Bahati

Like his name suggests, Bahati is a lucky man. He grew up in a Children’s home since he was an orphan. His musical career picked when he was still doing Gospel music. Today, he’s the 2nd most subscribed Kenyan artist on YouTube after Otile Brown. And his music is doing tremendously well.

      5. Njugush

Who would have thought Njugush would even gain weight to the point that he is now? His skinny physique matched his hilarious comical skits; made his jokes even funnier. This was just a preparation for a better life. The jester is an epitome of grass to grace
