“Mark brings over 15 years of experience in communication on local and international mainstream media and will be integral in shaping strategies and synergies necessary within the PMS team to effortlessly weave brand image and amplification with a digitally empowered approach.

“Mark’s entrance into our firm manifests our commitment to disrupting Africa’s PR and Communication market one country at a time,” Joanne Mwangi noted.

In his response, Masai welcomed his new role affirming his dedication to remaining active in the communications field.

“Communication is my first language and I have a knack for speaking to an audience with a desired outcome. The market is open and I am ready to close the deals and grow brands,” he stated.

Masai’s new role came three months after he parted ways with NTV where he worked as a news presenter for over 14 years.

Sources close to NTV had intimated that Masai was one of the journalists affected by a reshuffle at the Nation Media Group-owned media outlet in December 2022.

He expressed his gratitude to NMG while bidding farewell and asserted that he would bounce back in his career.

“However, this is not the end of my career in the media, I will be back on other platforms. All I have to say is watch this space,” Mark noted after his exit.

Besides his stint at NTV, Mark has an experience as a marketing consultant and is credited for having helped some of Kenyan’s prominent companies in building their brands.
