Kenya’s Eliud Kipchoge Sets New Marathon World record in Berlin, Named Best Runner than Usain Bolt

Kenya’s Olympic marathon champion Eliud Kipchoge set a new world record today Sunday in Berlin, finishing faster by more than a minute of the previous best with a dazzling run in the German capital.

The 33-year-old, widely seen as the greatest marathon runner of the modern era, ran a time of time of two hours, one minutes and 40 seconds on a sunny and warm autumn day along the flat inner-city course to beat Dennis Kimetto’s world best set of 2:02:57 in Berlin back in 2014.
