Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu on Sunday instructed off President Uhuru Kenyatta and Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko around the ongoing demolitions of buildings in Nairobi which sit on riparian land.
Waititu who owns dozens of buildings in Nairobi with greater part of them sitting down on riparian land, has come out to protect the land grabbers in Nairobi by opposing the ongoing demolitions beneath the Nairobi regeneration programme.
Waititu has controversially demanded for diversion of rivers in Nairobi to pave for development of structures on riparian land.
On Sunday President Kenyatta claimed he fully backs the demolitions led by Governor Sonko incorporating that heâ€™s prepared to shed pals in the ongoing war in opposition to impunity in Kenya.
Waititu who is a previous Embakasi MP is a landlord of several structures in Eastlands with most of them sitting down on riparian or grabbed land.
